SUBSTRATE.SUBCENTER

Curved cracks orbit around common center points, while straight cracks grow and branch at right angles. Each line grows until it reaches the edge of the field or collides with another line. When a line stops, at least one new line starts perpendicular to it at an arbitrary position. Repeated, the rule builds an intricate, city-like structure.

Substrate.Subcenter: a crowded field of straight and curved cracks in warm tan, red and grey, with ringed orbits around black orbs at top left and right, and a palette strip along the left edge.
Substrate.Subcenter: a single large black orb right of center, ringed by debris, set in a dense field of tan and grey crack cells dotted with small black orbs.
Substrate.Subcenter: tightly packed straight cracks in cream and grey, with several sets of circular cracks orbiting black orbs, strongest at the top right and bottom right.
Substrate.Subcenter: curved cracks spiral around several black orbs in a dense tan and grey field that opens into white space at right, with a palette strip along the left edge.
Substrate.Subcenter: two large black orbs, one at top center and one at lower right, among scattered tan crack structures and open white space, with a palette strip along the left edge.
Substrate.Subcenter: a dense square field of small tan, grey and white crack cells, with faint concentric rings of curved cracks orbiting scattered black orbs.
